Omeo District Health is a member of the Gippsland Local Health Service Network (GLHSN), one of Victoria's 12 Local Health Service Networks established by the Victorian Government on 1 July 2025. The Network brings together health services across Gippsland to improve access to care, strengthen service coordination, and ensure communities receive high-quality healthcare closer to home.

Working collaboratively, Network members remain independent organisations with their own boards, leadership, and local identity while partnering to improve health outcomes for Gippsland communities.
The GLHSN focuses on four key priority areas:
Access, Equity and Flow: Improving patient pathways and ensuring people can access the right care in the right place at the right time.
Workforce: Strengthening recruitment, retention, training and workforce planning across the region.
Safety and Quality: Promoting continuous improvement and consistent high-quality care across all health services.
Shared Services: Identifying opportunities to work together more efficiently and sustainably.
Through its participation in the GLHSN, Omeo District Health is helping to deliver more connected, equitable and sustainable healthcare services for residents of East Gippsland and the broader Gippsland region, while maintaining its strong commitment to local decision-making and community-focused care.
